Koorda’s Crew works hand-in-hand with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal organisations to deliver creative and culturally responsive solutions to a range of challenges and opportunities.

This can include:

• Reconciliation Action Plan creation, review, monitoring and evaluation.
• Coaching and mentoring Aboriginal employees and students.
• Reviewing the cultural safety of an organisation to provide suggestions on improvement.
• Reviewing policies, documents or processes to ensure cultural safety, including recruitment, retention, off-boarding, strategy, engagement and more.
• Creating, reviewing or overseeing communication plans specifically for Aboriginal audiences.
• Facilitating meetings, workshops
• Provide training on: cultural awareness through to cultural safety, colonial loading and cultural responsibility, lateral violence, indigenous worldviews – and more.

Or – are you just needing to make sure you are heading on the right track? Then we also provide ad-hoc advice on an as needs basis.

We do this work because we understand that not everyone grew up with the opportunities to learn and understand Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal worldviews or systems.

We have lived, worked and delivered positive impacts for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal organisations working in this third space, and we want to help the adults who want to work as best as they can with and for Aboriginal communities by sharing what we’ve learned.

Psst… we also hope that if us adults do the hard yards now, the children participating in our programs can come into a workforce that’s already done the hard yards for them – so they can come into the workforce and deliver on opportunities – not challenges.
