About Koorda's Crew

Koorda’s Crew is a 100% Aboriginal owned business based in Boorloo / Perth, Western Australia. We exist to share the joy of Noongar Country with everyone!

Noongar people are the Traditional Owners of the South-West Region of Western Australia. We have lived here for more than 45 000 years.

‘Koorda’ is often used by Noongar people to refer to their friends. Koorda’s Crew works to do its part to help build common ground between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities, so we can all be koordas!

Koorda’s Crew is a family-owned business, run by Noongar woman, Casey Kickett. Casey is a mum of four inspiring koolangkas / children and has a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Certificate in Adult Education, Certificates 2 and 3 in Horticulture and Land Conservation and is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration.

After working as an Executive developing and then overseeing Indigenous programs over Australia and 4 Pasifik Countries after years prior working in land access, water rights, native title and cultural heritage for some time – she followed where her heart took her and created Koorda’s Crew, because she wanted everyone to experience the joy and wonder of Noongar Country.

Koorda’s Crew has three pillars

Creating common ground between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children where the importance of Country is central through a range of cultural programs, workshops and tours (we connect the inner kids of adults, too!).

Working alongside non-Aboriginal organisations so they can work as best as they can with and for Aboriginal communities and employees, and working alongside Aboriginal organisations to lend a hand when needed through our consultancy services.

When one person from the Aboriginal community rises, we believe we should do what we can to make sure the rest of our community rises with us. To ensure we all rise as one, and to remove some barriers faced by our community organisations, Koorda’s Crew offers a limited number of free services per year to Aboriginal organisations and individuals, for the benefit of the Aboriginal community.
